McKay learned a new word: "wowow," which translates into "flower."
Perhaps it's because I pointed out all the flowers on the spring trees when they blossomed a few weeks ago. Now the trees are flowers to him. I'll have to fix that one.
Perhaps it's because I would ask McKay often if he liked Mommy's pretty flowers out front and then told him not to touch them. I have been pretty sensitive about people touching/picking/stomping on/ruining my flowers. (And, yes, I've seen all of the above. You'd be amazed.) I put some hard work into planting every single one.
Whatever the reason, one of my little boy's first five words was "flower." Maybe he's learned at a young age that girls like flowers. I'll take that as a good thing.
Unfortunately, my beautiful flowers have come and gone. They were so bright and cheery. I am going to miss them until next spring.

I'm glad you finally got your tulip garden that you've always wanted! It looks beautiful and I love it! It makes me want to come and visit even more!
It makes me laugh that McKay knows the word flower.... he's definitely your son! But cute nonetheless :)
